Find Coupons in Your Store
Often the best coupons are lingering around your store. You’ll find them next to products, on products and sticking out of blinking dispensers (known as blinkies). High value coupons are often found here too, so make sure you’re on the lookout for these bad boys. I can’t tell you how many times I have found killer coupons — such as $3/1 a pack of Coca-Cola! With the next sale I got 12 cans for free!

Get a Rain Check
Is your store out of your sale item? Don’t worry! Go to customer service and ask for a rain check. That’s right. This piece of paper means that you can come back next week (even after the sale has ended) and the store will honor your sale price. Why do stores do this? Because they cannot offer an advertisement to entice you into the store and not have the product — it’s false advertising. So, if the shelve are empty, get a rain check and still get the savings!

Bigger is NOT Better
Always buy the smallest size allowed by your coupon. If your coupon has no size restrictions, get the sample size. By purchasing the smaller size you’re getting the better deal. Now if your’e not using coupons, then yes, you get more for the bigger size for sure. But, with coupons, LESS IS ALWAYS MORE.

Google for Coupons
Google does a lot more than tell you the news or help you find your favorite websites – it also helps you find coupons. Enter the sale product you’re trying to get and add “coupon” into the search query. You’ll quickly find coupons and related blogs that tell you where and how to get that product for cheap!

Use Digital Coupons
Digital coupons are offered through store loyalty programs. You just click, add and go shopping. There’s no clipping or hassle. Plus, if you have clipped coupons you now have an additional coupon to use at the store, which is good if you’re trying to stock up and need as many coupons as possible.
