My Rite Aid Trip 7/29/2013 *Free Toothpaste and Toothbrushes*

Free toothbrushes and toothpaste at Rite Aid

Yesterday I packed up the kids and did my usual Rite Aid trip. I scan the ad, but my Rite Aid is weird and sometimes ads don’t always matchup. I had $4 in Rite Aid +UP rewards to use too, so I figured why not. Well, I walked away not paying a thing; instead, Rite Aid paid me to shop there!

It’s not a big haul, but I don’t buy tons of stuff just to buy it. Toothbrushes don’t expire so I always stock up on those. Toothpaste, however, does. Right now my stockpile already has 15 toothpastes. Luckily they all expire next year and in 2015 — so I will get through them.

Here’s what I did:

2 Reach Toothbrush @ $1.99 sale price
Used 2-$1.00 off any Reach Toothbrush coupon
Earned 2-$1 +UP Rewards

1 Oral B Complete Toothbrush @ $2.99 sale price
Used 1-$0.75 off any Oral B Toothbrush coupon
Earned $2.99 +UP Reward

1 Crest Complete Toothpaste @ $2.99 sale price

Used 1-$1.50 off any Crest Complete coupon (got this as a printed manufacturer’s coupon at Smith’s and held onto it!)
Earned $2.99 +UP Reward

Total: $5.71
Redeemed $4.00 +UP Rewards
Out of Pocket: $1.71

Earned +UP Rewards: $7.98

Total Cost of this trip: -$6.27!!!

Everything I bought yesterday was free and made me money. Currently Rite Aid has a $2.99 +UP Reward offer on Crest Toothpaste, but the toothpaste is on sale for $2.99 so it’s free even WITHOUT coupons, but when you use coupons you earn money on those too! You have to be a Wellness member to get the deal, but all that takes is signing up.

  1. I vowed to never become one, then one time I was watching the news about this mom and how she coupons. She spent $50 per month with five kids. $50? She even bought diapers. My $500 per month seems a little overboard after watching that. LOL. Then I turned into this, but I like it. It has almost become a game/hobby for me.
